Swyx is a software based solution which runs on Microsoft Windows 2000/3 Server, and offers all the functions of a high-end, traditional PBX.

SwyxServer is responsible for all call connection requests, call authorisation and all call switching processes.
SwyxServer’s PBX functions include specific rerouting of calls in the case of “busy signal” or when the called person is unavailable, group calls, music on hold and more.
Voicemail is handled via Microsoft Exchange Server, and the system integrates perfectly with Microsoft Small Business Server.

SwyxServer works with and SQL database and all necessary settings, such as the addition of new users or the modification of user rights, are achieved through MMC (Microsoft Management Console).

This provides direct access from anywhere in the IP network for all user data, regardless of whether managing with access rights or with rerouting calls on SwyxServer. As a matter of course, these administration functions are also accessible via the Internet.
